Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr said the government will achieve development goals via partnership with the private sector and civil society organizations.
Investment in the citizen is also among the government’s priorities in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives, Nasr said during a workshop held by the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation. Dubbed “global partnership for effective development cooperation & private sector’s participation in development,” the workshop was held with the participation of several ministries concerned and international financial institutions. Nasr said the event aims to determine the government’s current priorities under the leadership of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and then to add them to the work agendas of the international financial institutions for the coming stage. The workshop comes within the framework of the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation’s keenness to activate the private sector’s role and promote its active participation in the development process, she added. |
