Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla said that the economic and legislative reforms taken by Egypt have made the investment climate more attractive.
El Molla made these remarks during his meeting with Australia's Ambassador in Cairo Neil Hawkins to discuss ways of boosting cooperation between both countries in the field of mining and the investment opportunities available. He underlined that Egypt's recent reforms had encouraged global companies to increase their investments in the country. The minister underscored that the government is working to amend some articles of the mineral resources law to attract more investments in this field and help boost the national income, as well as increasing added value within the framework of the ministry's strategy, which aims to economically benefit from mineral resources and develop projects for manufacturing mining materials. |
