President Werner Hoyer of the European Investment Bank (EIB) said that the bank attaches importance to Egypt as one of the key countries in the Middle East and Africa.
The EIB will continue its support for Cairo in the coming period, Hoyer said, lauding economic reforms adopted by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The economic reform policies have had a positive impact on the Egyptian economy, he said during a meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli. Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr and EU ambassador in Cairo Ivan Surkos attended the meeting. |
