Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli has directed ministries tasked with applying a new waste management system across Egypt to coordinate action to secure funds needed for the process.
Sustainability Mechanisms are needed to gradually reduce funds allocated for infrastructure and operation over the coming few years, Madbouli said in a Cabinet meeting . A final outline should be referred to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as soon as possible, he stressed. The meeting also focused on upgrading solid waste management through establishing intermediate stations and sanitary landfills, as well as recycling factories. |
