Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan will preside over the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which will participate in the meeting of the Economic and Social Council of the Council of the League of Arab States tomorrow in the Republic of Tunisia in the framework of preparatory meetings for the forthcoming Arab Summit at its thirtieth regular session in Tunis.
The Minister of Finance referred to the Saudi proposal to merge the (Arab Economic and Social Development Summit) with the (Ordinary Arab Summit) when the two summits coincide in one year with giving the economic and social file more space at the regular summit. He added that the Council of the League at the level of foreign ministers in their last 151st session decided to submit the proposal for adoption during the 30th Arab summit to be hosted by Tunisia at the end of this month. He stated that this integration should give more attention to the economic issues. |
