An Egyptian high-level delegation of the Trade and Industry Ministry, headed by the ministry's adviser Magda Shahin, partook in meetings organized in Brussels by the European Commission and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), on phytosanitary measures.
In a statement on Friday, the Egyptian Commercial Service said that the delegation discussed cooperation with UfM member states in the phytosanitary field. The group held another meeting on cooperation in the fields of protecting intellectual property and combating commercial fraud and fake products. Other talks were also held on preparations for holding the ministerial meeting of the union's trade ministers including Egypt, set to be held by the end of this year. |
