The meeting comes on the sideline of the visit of His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry, and the accompanying delegation to Jakarta to participate in the 2nd meeting with Indonesia to discuss economic relations, especially in the energy sector, mining, tourism, property development and aviation.
Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary General of the UAE Chamber, said that the business environment in Indonesia is a promising investment destination, pointing to the need to strengthen cooperation relations by increasing visiting delegations and exchanging information related to the available investment opportunities. He emphasized on the need to double the efforts to inform businessmen and investors in Abu Dhabi and Indonesia with the investment sectors which would benefit both sides. Al Qubaisi, pointed to the important role of the Chamber within its strategy to support the private sector in Abu Dhabi and to contribute to developing and regulating trade and industrial affairs as well as increasing competitiveness by providing high-quality services which would contribute to the sustainable development process. |
