Minister of Transport Kamel Al-Wazeer witnessed the signing of a contract for the management, operation and maintenance of the two ferries Cairo and Riyadh between the Ministry of Transport and Cairo Ferry and Maritime Transport Company.
Following the signing of the contract, Al-Wazir stated that this signing comes within the framework of the Ministry of Transport's keen interest in developing the maritime transport sector which is considered one of the most important sectors related to the national economy. He underlined the necessity of paying attention to the periodic maintenance of the two ferries (Cairo and Riyadh), to achieve the highest rates of safety, and taking all measures to ensure the advancement and upgrading of the level of maritime transport services between the ports of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and achieve the highest safety rates and comfort and safety of passengers. It is needed to provide weekly reports on the development of work of the company and the development of services provided, pointing out that this company should be a leading model for companies working in this field |
