Finance Minister Mohamed Maait has called on major British investment institutions and businessmen to increase their investments in Egypt.
Maait's call came during his participation in a discussion panel organized by the Egyptian-British business association on investment opportunities in Egypt, the Finance Ministry said in a statement . The Finance Minister added that Egypt succeeded over the past period in creating an attractive business climate and providing an advanced basic infrastructure for establishing many investment projects, the statement added. He noted that the state managed to achieve a significant economic progress, thanks to the economic reform program that contributed to opening up broader horizons before the private sector in the development process. He stressed that current economic indicators show that the country is on the right track towards development. |
