The Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Tarek Amer is set to chair the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) annual meetings, which are scheduled to be held in October, the World Bank announced
. Amer will also give the opening speech for the meetings and will chair the meetings of the board of governors of the WBG, the IMF, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). |
