The Egyptian Economic Conference 2022 kicked off in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to review the current and future plans of the Egyptian economy.
The three-day event is meant to tackle proposed policies and measures in order to promote the Egyptian economy resilience and competitiveness. The conference will witness the launch of a number of incentives in the industrial sector. The conference's agenda will focus on three main tracks; namely the macro economic policies, empowering the private sector and the future plan for top priority sectors. The prime minister said in recent statements that the state seeks to boost the private sector's contribution to 60 percent in total investment within the coming three years. The prime minister said the government will immediately start the implementation of the conference's recommendations upon their issuance. |
