The Ministry of Finance issued a simplified index for the investors on the advantages and incentives approved by the laws of customs, taxes and investment.
The index will clarify the rules of the measures of benefiting from these advantages to increase the taxation and customs awareness to contribute to attracting more investments. The move will also contribute to expanding export base and providing new job opportunities in accordance with efforts exerted by the state to achieve the economic and developmental targets, upgrade the living conditions of the citizens and improve the services presented to them. In a statement of the ministry Finance Minister Mohamed Maait gave directives to continuously update the index with the advantages and incentives for the investors. The index reviewed the investment law which achieves balance between incentives and exemptions and maintaining the rights of the state and achieving economic development to encourage investments in the targeted regional geographic areas especially the activities and industries that have strategic importance. |
