Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said that the president had directed officials to enhance the private sector’s role in implementing the Universal Health Insurance System in order to swiftly carry out the national project in Egypt.
This came during his talks with the pioneers of the medical private sector in Egypt in which Presidential Advisor for Health and Prevention Affairs Mohamed Awad Tag el Din and Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar also attended the meeting. During the meeting, they reviewed the outcome of a scientific study published by the Northeastern University and GlobeMed company concerning activating the role of the private sector in developing the Universal Health Insurance System in Egypt. |
