The cabinet, under Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, has approved a draft decree on granting a license to the Suez Canal Authority to participate in establishing a joint-stock company called the "Suez Canal Company for Modern Boats”.
The company will be tasked with manufacturing, maintaining and exporting yachts and maritime units. The cabinet, during its routine weekly meeting, also approved a request by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities as regards implementing projects related to the development and restoration of some archaeological sites and museums. The projects are already approved in the ministry’s investment plan for the fiscal year 2023-2024. The cabinet approved as well a request by the Ministry of State for Emigration on amending a protocol of cooperation with the Ministry of Housing related to community development. |
