Housing and Urban Communities Minister Assem el Gazar announced that the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will suspend the system of land allocation for those paying in the US dollar from abroad as of June 2024.
In a statement on Saturday 01/6/2024, Gazar said that suspension decision will remain in force until the whole situation related to applying this system is thoroughly assessed and to ensure that the Central Bank of Egypt monetary policy is fully applied. Non-Egyptian investors and companies will be excluded from the suspension decision, he added. |
