The company announces its need for Supply of Transformer. With the decrease in Khuff gas reservoir pressure and the growing demand for gas from end users, there is a need to install new compression facilities on-site. These new compressor facilities must be able to operate at very low pressure receiving wet gas from existing and new wells and discharging compressed gas to the Mauddud Gas Injection (MGI) headers and various Gas Dehydration Units (GDUs) to meet the gas demand of the kingdom. Hence Bapco upstream is the progression of installing seven wellhead compression stations - NCF 3 to 8 and CNCF- (7 nos), at varying capacities across the Awali field through an EPC contractor Jereh selected through BTB tendering process. Based on the selection, NCF 3, 5 and 6 are considered to be Electric Motor driven compressors (EMD) and the balance units – NCF4, 7,8 and CNCF will operate on Gas engine driven compressors.
