The company invites all prospective suppliers and contractors for Refurbishment & Maintenance Services for VLSFO Bunkering Facility at RLIC. The VLSFO facility was built in 2007 to export VLSFO from storage tanks to LNG berths. VLSFO bunkering facility at Ras Laffan Industrial City is intended to import, store, and sell VLSFO to vessels (LNG ships). Imported VLSFO transferred from tanker vessel at General cargo berth GB-103 to tank farm using a mobile -loading arm. In the VLSFO tank farm area , two storage tanks (each 48,000 m3 capacity) are provided with hot-oil heating coils and swivel mixers completed with associated piping and instrumentation, to store the VLSFO. Bunkering facility was originally designed to export VLSFO from storage tanks through export pumps (2+1) using 24" common discharge header and subsequently via 30" above ground main export pipeline with 12" branch-off pipelines to LNG berths. However, this facility was not in use since commissioning in 2009. In June 2017, QatarEnergy revived VLSFO bunkering operations for the supply of fuel to LNG vessels calling RasLaffan port. Modifications were undertaken for receiving and export of bunker fuel to and from general cargo berth GB#103 using the mobile loading arm. QatarEnergy requires services of a professionally qualified and experienced CONTRACTOR to carry out the Asset Integrity Assessment of VLSFO Bunkering Facility for Woqod at Raslaffan followed by rehabilitation /maintenance of the associated equipment /system
