Prime Minister Dr. Kamal El Ganzouri said the government is keen to preserve citizens' health in Egypt in general and in Demietta in particular. He said that the government will not carry out investments, be it in Damietta or in any other governorate, if they are not conforming with environmental and health criteria. The Prime Minister said the government is keen to preserve Egypt's interests and to maintain the foreign investment in Egypt as well as to promote Egypt's reputation as a promising investment destination.
This came in a press conference on 10/3/2012 by Fayza Abul Naga, the minister of planning and international cooperation which followed the meeting held between the prime minister and the chairman of the board of directors of Canadian MEBCO company in presence of the Canadian Ambassador in Cairo, the ministers of petroleum, irrigation and environment.
