The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expressed readiness to support Egypt during the transitional stage. The IMF uncovered that it held constructive talks with Egypt and is looking forward to consolidating the talks with Egypt as soon as the presidential elections are over. This came in a press conference the spokesman for IMF Jerry Rice gave in Washington in answer to a question on the situation of talks with Egypt. Rice added that the IMF has reiterated that it is ready to support Egypt during the transitional stage.
