Finance Minister Momtaz Al Saeed said more financial allocations were made to purchase local wheat totaling EGP 7.5 billion after providing the Supply and Internal Trade Ministry with EGP one billion. The figure of EGP 7.5 billion is much bigger than the financial allocations of the previous years as the amount of local wheat, this year dwarfed those of the previous years. Concerning the oil products, Minister Saeed said the ministry has provided the oil organization with additional USD 100 million for imports of oil products to meet the needs of citizens, the electricity sector and other activities. The finance ministry gave the petroleum organization USD 4.55 billion in aggregate so far, he noted.
