The Egyptian Stock Exchange (ESE) won the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS)'s deputy head post after the voting held during the 18th annual general assembly of the federation was settled in favor of Egypt. The general assembly was hosted last week by the Bulgarian capital Sofia. In a statement on 22/9/2012a copy of which was received by MENA, the ESE said that the Amman stock exchange was competing with Egypt on the post, yet it withdrew the contest before the results were announced.
