Prime Minister Hisham Qandil met with members of the Egyptian community in Khartoum on 20/09/2012. Qandil expressed full confidence that Egypt would successfully pass through the current critical period. The political situation is getting more stable with the Constituent Assembly almost done with writing the nation's constitution, which will be followed by new parliamentary elections, he said. Economy-wise, Egypt is suffering major challenges, mainly the budget deficit, he said.
