Minister of Housing and New Urban Communities Tareq Wafik said on 8/4/2013 the Ministry will get back the land and dwelling units which have been seized during the period of lawlessness, which followed the outbreak of the Revolution. In this context, he said the ministry has got back a number of units which were forcibly occupied, adding coordination is maintained with different State bodies to get back the properties which have been seized. At his meeting with police bodies in the new urban communities, the minister tasked them with restoring these units. Wafik called on policemen to strongly face up to violation of law in the new urban communities, saying they will be fully supported by the ministry bodies.
