International Cooperation Minister Naglaa El-Ahwani said on 23/2/2015 that Egypt and Italy are discussing opening a new credit line to finance investment projects in Egypt.
Speaking at an Egyptian-Italian conference which was attended by 100 investors, Ahwani said that the Egyptian government will present several projects in 10 different sectors. Italy is an important partner to Egypt, Ahwani said, noting that the government seeks to increase the flow of Italian investments to Egypt. She pointed out that the upcoming economic conference slated for March has three main focuses; presenting the vision of the government and the ongoing reforms to lure the foreign investments; presenting 10 economic sectors and the investment opportunities in these sectors; and presenting a number of projects carried out by the ministries and the private sector. |
