Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on 8/6/2015 with the visiting Deputy Chief of Japan's Central Bank for International Cooperation and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Investment and Japanese Ambassador in Cairo. Mahlab hailed development projects funded by Japan in Egypt, including Egypt-Japan University and the Grand Museum and Hospital Abu Rish of Pediatrics. The PM hoped more Japanese firms would do businesses in Egypt, including in the new Suez Canal project. Mahlab pointed to the importance of Japanese tourism in Egypt, expressing his confidence in the Japanese side to support Egyptian efforts to increase Japanese tourism, especially with the availability of the Egyptian security in cities and tourist destinations. |
