 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices went up at the close of trading.
The market capital achieved gains worth EGP 1.6 billion to reach EGP 418.2 billion, after transactions surpassed EGP 538 million. The EGX 30 benchmark index went up by 0.42 per cent to close at 8,352.27 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) decreased 0.04 per cent to 365.01 points. Meanwhile, the all-embracing EGX 100 index rose 0.16 per cent to close at 812.02 points. |
