Electricity and Renewable Energy Minister Mohamed Shaker met with Investment Minister Dalia Khorshed.
The two ministers discussed the problems facing investors qualified for the first stage of electricity feed-in tariff program. The meeting asserted keenness of the government to attract and encourage businessmen to invest in Egypt. It also comes as part of the Electricity Ministry's strategy to make the renewable energy represent 20 percent of energy used in Egypt till 2022. |
