Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat witnessed the signing of a protocol of cooperation and partnership between Egypt Post and SudaPost in the field of remittance transfer.
This came on the sidelines of the 35th session of the meeting of the Arab Permanent Post Committee, hosted by the Egypt Post, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Arab League during the period from July 16 to 19 in Alexandria. Chairman of Egypt Post Essam el Saghir and Chairman of SudaPost Kamel al Ameen signed the protocol of cooperation. In a statement issued by the ministry, Saghir said that the protocol contributes to the implementation of the state plan to support financial inclusion and provide distinct public services to citizens. He explained that the protocol allows the Egyptian Post to send and receive remittances to and from Sudan through post branches that amount to 4,000 branches spread throughout the country.
