Egyptian flagship carrier EgyptAir received on Saturday June 15, 2019 the third Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner jet as part of a plan to buy six jets of the same model.
The company will receive the remaining three aircraft within the current and next months. The new model is set to enter into operation as of June 18 to carry passengers to Paris, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company Ahmed Adel said in a press release. He added the new plane features several cutting-edge technologies that enhance in-flight experience. The new Dreamliner is equipped with 309 seats divided into 279 seats in the economy class and 30 Super Diamond seats, which can turn into full-flat beds. It is also fitted with WiFi and several other in-flight entertainment features. |
