Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ambassador Hani Selim probed with South Korea’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Yun Kang-hyeon means to promote bilateral ties in all fields.
Selim said that both sides have strong political will to achieve a strategic leap for cooperation in light of Egypt and S. Korea capabilities and good relations. The senior Egyptian diplomat stressed that this will is based an all-out cooperative partnership, launched following the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Seoul in March 2016. They agreed on adopting close and accurate follow-up for all projects and proposals to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. The meeting, attended by S. Korean ambassador in Egypt Yeocheol Yoon, was held on the sidelines of a workshop organized by the Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) on cooperation in small and medium-scale enterprises between Cairo and Seoul. |
