Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inspected Universal Furniture Factory in the free zone in Suez's Attaqa district.
He asserted his keenness on weekly visits to the governorates and inspecting a number of factories in there. The factory's board chairman Hassan Attas said the factory was set up in 2020 at dlrs 5 million Saudi investments. About 40% of the factory's products depend on local component, Attas said. He said the factory currently exports all its production, but 10% of its production will go to the local market in the coming stage. The premier stood on the up-to-date equipment and technology used by the factory in manufacturing furniture. Attas thanked the premier for the visit, expressing pride for the factory's contribution to developing Egypt's economy and securing jobs. He said the factory seeks contributing to enhancing partnership between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in various economic activities, especially the furniture industry. The premier expressed happiness for visiting the factory, wishing it more progress. |
