Samir Imbaby, IBRD Delegates Discuss Boosting Cooperation

Civil Aviation Minister Samir Imbaby met on 20/09/2012 with representatives of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), who are visiting Egypt to follow up the implementation of expansion and renovation at Cairo airport's Terminal 2, which is scheduled to finish by 2014. The overhauling of Terminal 2 aims at increasing its annual capacity from 3.5 million to 7.5 million passengers. The meeting tackled means of boosting cooperation and future development programs at airports and in the civil aviation sector as well as benefiting from the IBRD experience in restructuring and improving the performance of aviation companies.
