Mohammed Ahmed Al-Murr Meets Greek Ambassador

The Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), Mohammed Ahmed Al-Murr, and Ambassador of Greece to the UAE, Dionisios Zois, discussed the growth of relations between the two countries in areas such as tourism and investment. The meeting discussed cooperation between the two countries towards integration, partnership and exchange of expertise. It also discussed the current regional and international developments.

In remarks at the meeting, Al Mur highlighted the UAE's interest in empowering women and their political participation. He emphasised that UAE women were able to prove capable in different business sectors and to assume the high positions in all areas.

The Greek ambassador emphasised that the relations with the UAE are deep. The Greek people, he noted, have special admiration for the UAE and for its good relations with the rest of the world, thanks to its prudent leadership. Zois also expressed admiration for the development of the UAE's parliamentary landscape and the participation of women in different activities.
