Egyptian Grant for Establishing Three Ventures in South Sudan

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation (WRI) Mohamed Bahaa Eddin said that Egypt will continue extending assistance and support to the people and government of South Sudan despite the tough circumstances which Egypt faces at the current stage.

This came in the Minister's statements on the occasion of signing contracts for implementing three ventures in South Sudan by the Arab Contractors, at an Egyptian grant of $ 7.2 million. The Minister stressed that water must be a source of cooperation among all the Nile Basin countries not a source of dispute. The minister hoped that South Sudan would move forward towards progress and development.
