 The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) denied reports of an increase in prices of gasoline and diesel oil after a Value Added Tax (VAT) bill was passed into law.
In a statement, the IDSC said it had contacted the Petroleum Ministry that described as baseless those reports, asserting the selling prices of petroleum products are tax inclusive. Furthermore, the Petroleum Ministry pointed out that quantities of gasoline and diesel oil are available at warehouses and will be pumped at all gas stations nationwide during Eidul Adha, the statement indicated. |
